DataMatrix Fonts & Encoder - Fontware 3

datamatrix barcode fonts us postal stamp using datamatrix

Morovia DataMatrix Fontware allows you to print data matrix symbols to any laser printers on Windows platforms.

Morovia DataMatrix Fontware includes two true type fonts, samples and encoders in ActiveX and GUI formats.

The most recent version is 3.35.0, which was released on May 26, 2011. This release is a bug fix release. Existing 3.x customers can download here.

Package Contents

The package includes two true type fonts. DataMatrix Font Encoders (ActiveX and GUI versions) are also included. Also included are the samples for Microsoft Access, Mail Merge and Crystal Reports. Note that the DataMatrix Font Encoders (as well as these samples) can only run under Windows platforms.

If you are looking a solution utilizing PCL fonts, download DataMatrix PCL font evaluation kit (ZIP, 5,623 bytes).

The data matrix encoding is very complicated so we include the DataMatrix encoder with every package. You can adjust a couple of factors: target size. The target size parameter allows you to choose the size of the data matrix symbol. The program fills padding characters to fulfill the size requirement. We recommend you to print at point size 12.

To encourage purchases of the retail version, the data matrix symbol generated by the encoder contains "demo" text. This limitation is removed in the retail version.

Font Tools

It is impossible to manually convert input into barcode string. You need some programming knowledge to integrate our Encoder API with your program. Currently the encoder programming interface is available only on Windows platforms.

If you are looking for adding data matrix barcodes into Crystal Reports, read KB10025: Adding DataMatrix barcodes to Crystal Reports. To learn the use in Microsoft SQL Reporting Service (MSRS), see KB10605: Creating 2D Barcodes in Microsoft Reporting Service 2000 and 2005.
